Integrating TYPO3 With a World-Leading Hotel Management Platform
Danish hotel chain Cabinn chose Pixelant to build their new responsive, flexible and customer-adapted website. The website is built to add value to every booking through up-sells and full integration of Oracle Hospitality’s Opera Cloud Services and Dibs payments with TYPO3 CMS.
About Cabinn
Cabinn is Denmark’s largest budget hotel chain. With 11 locations, they offer comfortable low-cost hotel rooms, apartments, and conference facilities—right in the center of the country’s largest cities.
The Project
We built a complete search engine and speed optimized website for Cabinn based on our powerful template system and the most recent release of TYPO3 CMS.
TYPO3 is easy to integrate with external systems, and we created an in-depth integration between it and Oracle Hospitality’s Opera Cloud Services platform. The integration includes a user-friendly native TYPO3 frontend booking flow and access to property management and integration logs for debugging in the backend.
The customer-facing interface was implemented using the vue.js framework, providing a snappy user experience with near-instant page loads. The system has been implemented to allow customers to drop off from the site and continue the booking process at a later time.
Payments are completed seamlessly using the popular Scandinavian payment processor Dibs.
